Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made his third pilgrimage within a year to the holy Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu ahead of his upcoming film "Dunki's" release on December 21. The actor took the trek incognito dressed in all-black with his face obscured, accompanied by his manager Pooja Dadlani and bodyguards. Khan previously visited the popular Hindu site before the launches of "Pathaan" and "Jawan" earlier this year, both which became box office smashes collecting over ₹1000 crore each. With the track record of success following his trips to pay obeisance at the temple, he seems to have made it a ritual before his movie releases, hoping to add another ₹1000 crore to "Dunki's" box office bank as well.

Sr Bachchan's iconic weekend fan ritual was made even more special with his grandson by his side to see the cheers, also being seen by many as an act of handing over the baton to the next generation.

"In you, I find my divine connection; with you, my union is destined. Grateful for blessings of god, family, and friends," they captioned. A day before, Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap gave a glimpse of the pre-wedding revelry by posting a video of Mukti dancing with Kunal to 'Kesariya'. "You guys were a dream last night," Tahira wrote. Mukti Mohan has been a part of Television shows like Zara Nachke Dikha 2, Comedy Circus Ka Jadoo, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, and Fear Factor. Kunal Thakur is an actor and model. Before Animal, he was seen in a supporting role in Kabir Singh.

The Central government has issued show cause notices to Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn concerning their appearances in ads for banned gutka products, the Allahabad High Court was informed on Friday. The development comes in response to a contempt petition urging action against celebrities promoting the tobacco wares hazardous to public health. The government counsel cited an ongoing Supreme Court case on the matter, but the High Court scheduled a new hearing for 2024. India has stringent laws limiting gutka marketing and consumption, with states like Tamil Nadu upholding complete prohibitions to curb usage.

Ranbir Kapoor's crime drama 'Animal' continues its golden run, minting Rs. 23.34 crore on day 8 to take its domestic box office tally to Rs. 362.11 crore. The worldwide collection stands at Rs. 600 crore, making it the 4th highest grossing Hindi film of 2022. In India, 'Animal' has surpassed Ranbir's previous highest grosser 'Sanju' to become his biggest hit. The R-rated film had the 3rd highest opening week ever for a Hindi film with Rs. 337.35 crore. Backed by strong word-of-mouth, 'Animal' is now the highest earning A-rated Indian film.

Sunny Deol to star in sequel to his hit patriotic film 'Border', directed by JP Dutta's daughter Nidhi Dutta. Ayushmann Khurrana likely to play the parallel lead. According to a report by IANS, Nidhi Dutta is currently penning the script of Border 2. She envisions this upcoming movie as the biggest war film in India. Unlike its prequel, the movie aims to showcase the collaborative efforts of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The movie will aim to cover the inclusive aspects of the 1971 war. Makers plan to retain authenticity by shooting at real locations and incorporating stories of war heroes. The movie’s shooting is reportedly scheduled to start next year. There has been no official confirmation from the makers about the same.

Police arrested television actor Bhupinder Singh for allegedly firing his licensed gun at neighbors amid a property dispute in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor, killing one and injuring three. Reports stated Bhupinder was installing a fence when an argument broke out with Gurdeep Singh over getting eucalyptus trees cut. The clash escalated as Bhupinder and three associates attacked and opened fire. Gurdeep's 22-year-old son Govind died while he, his other son and wife suffered injuries. Bhupinder, who starred in shows like 'Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam', faces murder and attempt-to-murder charges for the shooting resulting from the scuffle over trees between the two farm owners.
