Kangana Ranaut's 'Ode to the Indian Air Force,' Tejas crash landed at the box office on Friday. The over-acted aerial action thriller is deemed to mark Ranaut's 11th flop film in a row. Desperate for a hit after last year's Dhaakad debacle, Ranaut relentlessly promoted the film on various platforms and also tried grabbing the attention of certain right-wingers by praising Prime Minister Modi as an incarnation of God. However, her cringeworthy promo blitz failed to get Tejas off the ground, as audiences rejected the film's ham-fisted jingoism. With dismal opening day numbers, Ranaut's latest misguided missile seems destined to bomb yet again. After a string of duds, the question remains - how many more flops before Ranaut's career stalls completely?

The trailer for 'Tiger 3' starring Salman Khan dropped Monday, featuring the superstar back in his popular spy role. The third film in the 'Tiger' franchise sees Khan's character battling a menacing Emraan Hashmi to protect his family. Khan is shown aggressively fighting Hashmi's villainous character in the high-octane trailer filled with large-scale action sequences. 'Tiger 3' continues the story from previous films as well as 'War' and 'Pathaan'. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie sees Katrina Kaif reprising her role as Pak spy Zoya, now married to Tiger. Fans are set for an adrenaline-filled ride when the film hits theaters.

Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas was issued death threats allegedly by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's associates just hours before her concert in Delhi on Saturday. Sandlas, who lives in the US, started getting calls with threats of an attack at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium after landing in Delhi. Police said the threats came from international numbers. Security has been tightened at Sandlas' hotel while Delhi Police are also providing cover. Sandlas has chartbuster hits along with songs in Bollywood films like 'Kick' and 'Street Dancer 3D'. The threats have cast a shadow on her much-awaited Delhi performance.

  Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the makers of 'The Vaccine War' for showcasing the efforts of Indian scientists in developing an indigenous COVID-19 vaccine. Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film depicts the struggles of Indian scientists against the pandemic. PM Modi said the movie made every Indian feel proud and highlighted the hard work done by the country's scientists. He commended the film for giving importance to India's scientists and science. The film's director expressed gratitude to the PM for appreciating the movie's focus on the contributions of women scientists in particular. Released on September 28, 'The Vaccine War' stars Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar and others.

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has sought a two-week extension before presenting himself to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in connection with the Mahadev online betting app case. He was asked to appear before the agency on October 10. He has allegedly been a social media influencer for the betting platform and received payments for promotional work. The ED is investigating allegations of money laundering against the makers of the app. Kapoor has requested more time before responding to the summons issued by the probe agency.

Grammy-winning Indian musician Ricky Kej has criticized Trevor Noah over the debacle regarding his canceled shows in Bengaluru. Kej slammed Noah's lack of venue reconnaissance and personal responsibility, pointing out other international artists have held successful events in the city. He criticized Noah for vaguely blaming "India" instead of taking accountability. Noah's shows were called off citing audio issues, with disappointed fans promised refunds. Kej asserted artists must behave responsibly and respect paying supporters. His sharp comments highlighted the need for meticulous planning by global entertainers to avoid letting down Indian audiences.

Aamir Khan has announced his next project as a producer. The Aamir Khan Productions will be bankrolling Raj Kumar Santoshi's next, titled Lahore 1947 and it will star Sunny Deol as lead.  It will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. Interestingly, this film will also mark Aamir Khan Productions’ (AKP) 17th production under their banner. The note shared by Aamir Khan Productions on their social media platforms read, “I, and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled Lahore, 1947. We look forward to collaborating with the immensely talented Sunny, and one of my favourite directors, Raj Santoshi. The journey we have embarked on promises to be most enriching. Lyca Productions has unveiled the first look poster of Rajinikanth from his upcoming film "Thalaivar 170" as the shooting of the film starts on Wednesday. The poster features the superstar in a stylish black suit and sunglasses. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Tushara Vijayan, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil. Rajinikanth plays a retired police officer in the film, which revolves around a fake encounter. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, and the film aims to be an entertainer with a social message. Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan expressed their excitement about the project.
