"Our Ram has finally arrived," said PM Modi addressing the gathering at the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya's Ram Temple. "I'm witnessing the divine in the sanctum sanctorum. There's a lump in my throat," he added emotionally. The PM said, "After unprecedented patience and sacrifice, Lord Ram has arrived. Ram Lalla will no longer live in a tent." Equating the event to "breaking free of slavery mindset," Modi termed it the "dawn of a new era," saying the date will be eternally remembered. He sought forgiveness for the long wait, saying "There must have been some lapse."
