In a pre-election attack, over 30 militants stormed a police station in northwest Pakistan's Draban region, killing at least 10 personnel and injuring six. The assailants, using sniper fire and hand grenades, briefly took control of the station. The incident comes amidst a surge in violence in the lead-up to critical general assembly elections. Political leaders have been targeted in recent attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces.
